Day: 1
Welcome to India Vacations! Our tour manager will receive you at the airport in Delhi and take you to your hotel for check in. |
Day: 2-4
Early morning flight to Bangalore (1.5 hours) followed by drive to Waynad / Coorg district (7 hours).Spend two nights with an Indian family at a beautiful home stay on a coffee plantation. The owners will take you for plantation walks as well as other interesting activities in the vicinity such as wildlife safaris and cultural activities. |
Day: 5-6
Drive from Waynad to Calicut (4 hours) followed by flight to Cochin (1 hour). Check into a charming hotel and stroll along the harbor to watch the fishermen cast their Chinese fishing nets. Visit the antique and spice markets for which Cochin is famous. |
Day: 7
Drive to boat jetty in Alleppey (1.5 hours). Cruise along the backwaters by day and dock at a picturesque location by night. This is undoubtedly one of the most relaxing experiences to watch Kerala life at work as you watch the world go by.

Day: 8-9
Boat drop off at backwater resort jetty. Kumarakom and Alleppey are two villages located on opposite banks of the beautiful Vembanad Lake. Relax at the resort and walk through the village or experience relaxing and rejuvenating Ayurveda massages. |
Day: 10
Mid morning drive to Trivandrum (4 hours). Check into a beautiful beach resort and head out for a half day excursion to Trivandrum if this interests you. Evening at leisure. |
Day: 11-14
Internal morning flight (1 hour) to Male. Boat or sea plane transfer to the resort. The Maldives are a perfect destination for relaxation and romance. The crystal clear blue waters and the beautiful reef filled with thousands of varieties of fish are a magnificent sight. One can do activities such as snorkeling, diving, motorboat rides and hiking in the Maldives. |
Day: 15
International flight from Male to Trivandrum followed by connecting flight to Mumbai. (5 hours). Arrival at domestic terminal. Transfer to international terminal for departure. Half day local sightseeing in Mumbai if time permits. |
